Texas Cut Out: complete!

It is complete! This one is one of my favorite pieces! I love how each piece of reclaimed wood took the stain differently. I stained it all once, sanded it down and polished it with a satin polyurethane coat. Two hooks have been attached to the back for secure wall hanging. It was a fun piece to make! Ready for the next project...

Texas Cut Out: w.i.p.

So, social media isn't all that bad. I believe you just have to know how to use it for good and sharing things people will like. On my personal Facebook page, I post pictures of the latest thing I'm working on. I'm pretty excited about these things I'm making and I just want other people to see it all (but I'm secretly hoping that they will want to buy these things or commission me to make something for them). So today was productive and I finished the construction of this table. I am so excited about it! Even my dog likes it! I delivered it to Amy's house and the best part was watching her and her husband inspect it! I love making things and seeing the look on the recipients face! Ready for the next project...

Amy, my best friend (since we were silly, little girls), has been looking for a thin entryway/sideboard type table. So, Richard, her husband, asked me if I could make one! A friend from work asked me if I would be able to add some names in graffiti on some basketballs. I've never tried it. I've never even written anything in graffiti!
