Happy New Year, friends!
We are about a week deep into 2022 and it sure feels like the fast pace of life is continuing. I’m not one to believe that the changing of the calendar year brings an automatic reset. But, I do believe that we can reset at anytime we feel we need to do so.
One thing I have found to help me reset or unwind is hand lettering. I grab all of my pretty pens, my favorite papers and get lost in the writing! I’ve found that it is the brain break I need.

- grab your favorite pens
- go to your favorite quiet space
- get lost in the art of lettering while focusing on the word or phrase of the week
Overtime, your lettering will improve and you’ll find your mindset changing for the better.
