One of my new favorite things that I'm making is the serving tray. I am making them from 100% found goods (curbside pick-up, yard sales, garage sale groups on Facebook, the Amish market, etc.).
I see these trays as necessities to intimate conversation times with friends or loved ones. I see someone using it in the morning to sit outside with their coffee, toast and devotional material. And, I see it being used around a fire pit as a place to set your Shiner, cigars and peanuts. To me, a serving tray is an accessory that brings people together or invites personal reflection and relaxation.
This was the first one sold (and it was sold immediately after being posted!!)
Now I have a rustic Texas tray that is up for grabs:
I am currently in the process of making more. The handles I ordered came in the mail today.
I can't wait to see how each of these trays turns out and I hope those who buy them enjoy them as much or more than I enjoy making them!
